    Design and implement strategies for batch management in pig farms

    • Besides the common one-week system, batch management also allows the interval between adjacent batches to be multiple weeks in pig farms. Compared with the one-week system, multiple-week system can reduce pressures of disease control and increase production efficiency. However, some problems such as facility utilization and sow re-service need to be considered. This paper discussed some details for batch management in pig farms.
