    • Artificial insemination (AI) can effectively improve the utilization rate of boar, reduce the cost of feeding boars and the biological risk. This paper is aimd to increase the success rate of AI by analyzing the influencing factors and key operation. The importance of AI, the condition to be satisfied, the factors influencing AI to apply successfully, and the key processes were discussed in this paper. The key factors of AI were summarized, which included the quality of semen, accurate estrus identification, clean and hygienic insemination conditions, correct conception device and insemination techniques.
