    • The membrane lipid peroxidation and protective enzyme activity were Compared in leaves ofvarious Sugarcane genotypes in solution culture by full strength and phosphorus- deficient Hoaglandsolution. It showed that phosphorus deficiency could incrase the membrane lipid peroxidation and changethe artivity of protective enzymes. The changes were somewhat different between different genotypes, itmay be connected with the sbility of low phosphorus tolerance.
