    • Leaves of Kuding tea(Ilex latifolia Thunb)contain many physiological active com-positions such as polyphenol,amino acids,etc. Through animal experiments,it wasfound that the Kuding tea had the curative effects of lowering blood pressure,andreducing both cholesterol and triglyeeride content of blood.Results of toxicologicaltests indicated that the Kuding tea is one kind of safe health food.
