    Investigation of Host Plants of Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) in Guangzhou Area

    • The host plants of Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) in Guangzhou area, China were investigated from 1999 to 2000. There were 176 species of plant which belong to 46 families as hosts of B.tabaci , and Solaceae Cucurbitaceae, Leguminosae,Cruciferae,Compositae and Euphorbiaceae are the main families of host plant. All the plants were identified and divided into 4 grades according to the damage degree caused by B.tabaci.
