    Studies on the Yield Formation and Physiological Effects of Nucleotide and Its Combinatios in Wax Gourd (Benincasa hispida Cogn.)

    • Influenceof application of nucleotide and its combinations on the yield formation and itsphysiological effects was studied. The results indicated that the young and old fruityields and the total yields of wax gourd increased significantly with treatment ofnucleotide and its combinations; the contents of dry matter, vitamine C, reducing andtotal sugar in old fruits increased. The contents of leaf chlorophyll and photosyntheticrates of plant leaves raised distinctly.
