Effect of backfat loss on reproductive performance of the second parity sows

摘要: 本文旨在评估一胎转二胎背膘损失对二胎母猪繁殖性能的影响，计算母猪背膘损失，并分析繁殖性能差异。结果表明：一胎转二胎背膘损失超过2 mm会显著降低二胎母猪的总产仔数，一元线性回归分析得出一胎母猪的临产背膘不宜超过18 mm。

Abstract: This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of backfat loss on reproductive performance of sows from the first parity to the second parity. The backfat loss were determined and reproductive performance differences were analyzed. The results showed that the total litter size of sows decreased significantly when the loss of backfat was more than 2 mm from the first parity to the second parity. Linear regression analysis showed that the backfat of first parity parturition sows should not exceed 18 mm.
