    THE GENETIC BASIS OF HYBRID STERILITY IN CULTIVATED RICE

    • 摘要: 本文综述了栽培稻杂种不育性的四种不同的基因模式:1.重复配子致死;2.单位点孢子体——配子体互作;3.单位点孢子体不育性;4.互补孢子体不育性。讨论了利用广亲和基因和特异亲和基因克服栽培稻杂种不育性的可能性。

       

      Abstract: Four genie models controlling hybrid sterility in cultivated rice are reviewed in the present paper:(1) duplicate gametophytic lethal, (2) one locus sporo-gametophytic interaction; (3)one locus sporophytic sterility, and(4)complementary sporophytic sterility. The possibility of overcoming the hybrid sterility in cultivated rice by the use of wide-compatibility gene(a) and specific-compatibility genes is discussed.
