    粒子群优化算法在图像边缘检测中的应用

    Applications of the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm in Image Edge Detection

    • 摘要: 通过分析研究传统的边缘检测方法,提出了应用粒子群优化算法对边缘检测模板系数进行优化,试验结果表明,该方法利用个体在解空间中的随机速度来调整位置,具有很强的随机性,检测结果比传统方法效果好,鲁棒性好,比其他优化算法方便,没有遗传算法交叉变异等复杂过程.

       

      Abstract: A new method for image edge detection is proposed based on particle swarm optimization through analyzing traditional methods for edge detection.The experimental results show that the proposed method has high randomicity by using individual random velocity in the solution space to change the position of the individual,and that the detected image edge is much clearer and more robust by using the proposed method than by using traditional methods.And compared with other optimization methods,such as Genetic algorithm(GA),the proposed method is very convenient and has no complex process of GA with crossover operators and mutation operators.
